Push the limits of your camera: a photography workshop at the National Botanic Garden
A photography workshop in a truly inspiring location. This workshop targets both beginners and more advanced photographers who want to go beyond using the automatic settings and use all the possibilities of their camera, whether it is a reflex camera or a practical pocket camera.
The National Botanic Garden, holding thousands of different plant species will provide a challenging and inspiring setting. A guide from the Botanic Garden will aid us in exploring the vast domain and will help us spotting the perfect subjects. Participants will also receive a Botanic Garden Year card so they can come and explore throughout the seasons.
Wildlife photographer Tom Linster is our teacher and he is passionate about his job. He has crossed the globe, from Australia to the north of Canada, in search of the perfect photo opportunity. As a cameraman he also worked for the well know TV program "Man bijt hond". For three consecutive years Tom won the Argus Environmental photo contest in the category "Nature in your backyard". Last year his first book "The planet has the hots for us" expressed his concern about global warming and climate changes.
